The Compton native also revealed the release date for his sophomore album, Superghetto, which will be released on March 25 through Cool Lil Company and RCA Records.
Buddy discussed his upcoming album with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, stating “It’s more about the essence of growing up in the hood.” he continued “I’m from there, so its in me not on me and I take it everywhere I go. Everyone else just has to conform to the energy I’m bringing to the table. That’s what the album sounds like. My experience, from my perspective… the beat selection…its a bunch of different flows and cadences.”
Blxst recently released his music video for “about you” which was Premiered on January 26th, 2022, and produced by Alfredo Flores. The original song audio was released last December 3rd, 2021.
