The AHF is the largest global AIDS organization, providing medical care and support services to over 1.5 million people in 45 countries. Proceeds from the event will directly support the organization’s efforts to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic. In a press release they stated that more than 2,000 people attend the annual spring break event, which raises around $2 million for 12 regional non-profits offering HIV/AIDS services in South Florida, the country’s core of the disease. Also, there will be informational booths at the event with a variety of health and wellness services, as well as children’s games, food trucks, and other family-friendly activities. The music event will feature the captivating sounds of singer-songwriter and worldwide DJ, DJ Citizen Jane, to cap off the action-packed event.
