After a five-year break from live performances, Louisiana-born rap star NBA YoungBoy is making a major comeback with his first-ever headlining tour, the 2025 MASA Tour. Known for his emotionally raw delivery, prolific output, and massive streaming success, the Baton Rouge native is finally hitting the road, and fans across the country are getting ready.
The 27-city trek kicks off on September 2 in Dallas, Texas, at the American Airlines Center and wraps up on October 19 in New Orleans, bringing YoungBoy full circle back to his home state. The tour includes major stops in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Miami, and Atlanta. Fans can also catch him at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on October 3.
Joining YoungBoy on this highly anticipated run are three rising names in hip-hop:
- DeeBaby, is a melodic rapper out of Houston, TX, who’s been turning heads with his passionate lyricism and breakthrough mixtapes.
- EBK Jaaybo, hailing from Stockton, CA, is known for gritty, emotional storytelling and gaining buzz on the West Coast.
- K3, whose style and momentum are building strong attention, particularly among fans of the underground and southern scenes.
This tour announcement comes just after YoungBoy dropped his latest single, “Shot Callin’,” a track that continues his signature blend of introspection and intensity. It’s the newest in a long streak of music that includes viral hits like “Slime Examination” and fan-favorite albums such as Decided 2, Richest Opp, and Don’t Try This at Home. His December 2024 album, I Just Got a Lot on My Shoulders, marked his final project under Motown Records.
Fans took advantage of VIP packages, which included perks such as premium seating, backstage tours, pre-show lounge access, exclusive merchandise, and more. He ended up adding 13 new dates due to high demand, including Raleigh, Dallas, Houston, Charlotte, Seattle, San Antonio, Portland, Anaheim, and more.
Tickets for the general public went on sale Thursday, May 22, available. Early access through the artist presale closed on Sunday, May 18. Presale for the newly announced dates launched June 4, and General ticket sales began June 6 at 10 AM
