Everyone loves a collab, when big names team up with a rising star, or their favorite artist collab it’s always a big deal. Nicki Minaj, and St. Louis rapper Sexyy Red joined together remix of Red’s song “Pound Town” last year.
“Pound Town 2” which was released on January 27, 2023, a collab with Tay Keith became Sexyy Red‘s breakout song going viral on TikTok. Following that Sexxy got big endorsement from celebrity artists, leading to a remix with the Queen Bee herself released on May 26, 2023. This helped Red get her first song on the Hot 100 chart.

Now Sexxy Red is returning the love, “Super Bass” rapper Nicki Minaj asked Sexyy Red to join her for a remix of Minaj’s song “FTCU,” which is short for “F**k The Club Up.” The original song was a hit from Minaj’s album “Pink Friday 2,” which came out in December 2023 and did really well on the charts.

As fans eagerly await the release of the “FTCU” remix, Minaj and Red are expected to make another chart topping remix again. They just might be getting an early summer anthem hit.
