Wu-Tang Clan Announces Farewell Tour: ‘Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber’ with Run The Jewels

Wu-Tang Clan is going out with a bang! The legendary hip-hop group has just announced their last-ever full crew tour, called “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber Tour.” To make things even more exciting, they teamed up with one of the most famous voices in sports, Ernie Johnson Jr., to get fans hyped up.

In a special promo video, Johnson takes viewers through the streets of New York, home of the Wu-Tang Clan. As the camera shows graffiti tributes to the group and SUVs waving the Wu-Tang flag, he delivers an epic introduction: “From the slums of Shaolin to the world stage, they have conquered, endured, and remained untouchable.” He then names each legendary member—RZA, GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa, Cappadonna, and Method Man—before announcing that “The final chamber is upon us.”

The video ends with RZA and Method Man standing at center court, throwing up the Wu-Tang hand sign, as Johnson promises that this tour will hit harder than ever. “Wu-Tang is forever,” he declares. RZA then jumps in, officially naming the tour and revealing that special guests Run the Jewels—rap duo El-P and Killer Mike—will be joining them.

The 27-city tour kicks off on June 6 in Baltimore, Maryland, and will make stops in major cities like Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Chicago, Toronto, and New York before wrapping up in Philadelphia on July 18. All nine living members of the group will be on stage, and Young Dirty Bastard will take the place of his late father, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, who passed away in 2004.

“Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career,” RZA said in a statement. “This tour is called The Final Chamber. This is a special moment for me and my Wu brothers to travel the world one last time and share our music, culture, and energy.”

RZA also promised fans something truly special: “On this tour, we’re playing songs we’ve never performed live before, and we’ve designed a show unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And to top it all off, we’ve got the amazing Run the Jewels on our side.”
