Angel Reese announces she’s headed to the WNBA

After a disappointing loss to Iowa in the Elite 8 of women’s college basketball, 

Angel Reese has decided to take her talents to the WNBA. 

In a statement to vogue.com a week before the start of the NCAA tournament, the 21-year-old Reese, 

a junior who has won numerous awards including the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and national champion, announced her decision. 

Leah Faye Cooper spoke to Angel while she was still in her off-campus apartment in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

As for her collegiate career, Angel Reese stated, “I’ve accomplished everything I set out to do in college. I’ve won a national championship,
