Rich The Kid and Kodak Black have teamed up once again for their new song, “Rain Snow.” Along with the track, they also dropped an eye-catching music video that takes fans on a journey through Haiti.
Directed by Joseph Desrosiers, the video captures the two rappers celebrating their success while delivering hard-hitting verses over an uplifting beat. Rich The Kid raps about his grind from struggling in the streets to making it big, while Kodak Black reflects on his past and how far he’s come.
The two artists previously worked together on last year’s track, “Let’s Get It,” and their chemistry is just as strong on “Rain Snow.”
In an interview with 103.5 The Beat’s DJ Bulletproof, Rich The Kid shared a cool story about how the song came together. He explained that he was out eating at Kiki On The River in Miami when Kodak Black suddenly pulled up on a boat.
“Shout out to Kodak,” Rich said. “We had just made another song, and then he gave me ‘Rain Snow.’ I was trying to decide what song to drop next, and out of nowhere, Kodak pulls up while I’m eating. I see him and I’m like, ‘Ain’t that Kodak right there?’ He came up to me and said, ‘Bro, when we dropping that song?’ And that’s when I knew it was time to put it out.”
Rich also revealed that “Rain Snow” is part of his upcoming album, set to drop later this year. He promised fans that this project would be his most diverse yet, featuring collaborations with artists from all over the world. Some big names expected on the album include Quavo, J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Young Miko, Skillibeng, Ozuna, and more.
With “Rain Snow” already making waves, fans are excited to see what else Rich The Kid has in store for his next album.
