In a recent development to the ongoing sexual assault lawsuit against music mogul Diddy, Lil Rod, whose real name is Rodney Jones Jr., has expanded the scope of his allegations by including renowned actor Cuba Gooding Jr. in the legal proceedings. The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, March 26, alleges that Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, orchestrated a trafficking ring and attempted to groom Lil Rod for exploitation.
According to court documents, Lil Rod expressed fear that Diddy sought to groom him for exploitation and later introduced him to Cuba Gooding Jr. during a gathering on Diddy’s yacht. The complaint alleges that Gooding proceeded to engage in unwanted sexual advances towards Lil Rod, including touching and groping various parts of his body. Lil Rod claims to have forcefully rejected Gooding’s advances, as detailed in the complaint alongside what he asserts is evidence of the encounter.
The lawsuit further accuses Diddy of coercing Lil Rod into facilitating sexual encounters with sex workers and engaging in sexual activities against his will. Describing disturbing incidents, Lil Rod recounts being made to work in Diddy’s bathroom while the music mogul showered naked, as well as waking up in bed with two sex workers without any recollection, suggesting possible drugging.
Moreover, Lil Rod alleges witnessing Diddy spiking alcoholic drinks served to women, some of whom were underage, at his residence, adding a grave dimension to the accusations.
Notably, the lawsuit implicates Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, among other names, in the alleged misconduct.
In response to these serious allegations, Diddy, through his lawyer Shawn Holley, vehemently denies all claims made by Lil Rod. Holley dismisses Lil Rod’s accusations as fabricated and asserts that substantial evidence exists to refute them. Despite attempts to communicate with Lil Rod’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, to present this evidence, communication has been unreciprocated.
Holley emphasizes that the accusations are baseless and intended solely to gain attention and financial compensation, pledging to contest them in court and pursue appropriate legal action against those making false claims.
As this legal battle unfolds, it casts a shadow over the reputations of influential figures in the entertainment industry and underscores the importance of addressing allegations of sexual misconduct with diligence and integrity.
Lil Rod has reportedly listed Cuba Gooding Jr. as a defendant in his sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy. 😬
