Tems, has officially announced her highly-anticipated debut album, “Born In The Wild,” set to release on June 7 via RCA Records and Since 93’. The upcoming record will be supported by a world tour kicking off this summer.
On her socials, Tems shared the cover art for her debut record, a mystifying image of her emerging from a dark background, and said, “This is my most special moment. Everything I have I put into this. Thank you all so much for believing in me. Born in The Wild. June 7th.”
Tems, the Nigeria-based singer, songwriter, and producer, will embark on her first-ever headlining tour, beginning June 12 in London and featuring stops in Paris, France; Olso, Norway; Berlin and Cologne, Germany; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Montreux, Switzerland.
The “Born in the Wild World” Tour will continue through the United States, with stops in Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and New York, before heading to Toronto and Montreal, Canada.
The tour will also visit Chicago, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, as well as Vancouver, British Columbia, Brisbane, and Melbourne, Australia. The tour will end on November 15th at the Horden Pavilion in Sydney, Australia.
However, the tour only has one stop in Africa (Lekan), but it’s TBA, meaning there’s not even an official date. Many African fans find it unusual and unfair given she’s from Africa, but this is just the first announcement of the tour. As it continues, Tems might add more dates and locations since the tour doesn’t end until November, and many artists usually add dates to the tour as it progresses.
Tickets for Tems “Born In The Wild” tour go on sale to the general public on May 17 at 10 a.m. local time. Artist presale starts May 14 at 10:00 a.m. local time in North America.
