    Juvenile “Back That Azz Up” 25th Anniversary Tour

    Juvenile is being honored with a special day in New Orleans to mark the 25th anniversary of his hit song “Back That Azz Up,” alongside a massive tour to commemorate the occasion.

    Mayor LaToya Cantrell has officially designated June 11th as “Back That Azz Up Day” in New Orleans, celebrating the rapper’s iconic 1999 track.

    Juvenile shared his excitement on Instagram, proudly displaying his proclamation and stating, “Check me out, man. The mayor done made it official. On this day 25 years ago I released a song called Back That Azz Up.”

    Mannie Fresh, the producer behind “Back That Azz Up,” also celebrated the honor on his Instagram, expressing gratitude to Mayor Cantrell and the city of New Orleans.

    In his post, Mannie Fresh reflected on the song’s impact, noting that it introduced bounce music to the world and has stood the test of time despite initial doubts.

    Juvenile has now unveiled the full itinerary for his highly anticipated “Back That Azz Up” 25th anniversary tour.

    The extensive 65-date tour will kick off on July 7 in New Orleans and conclude on New Year’s Eve, December 31, in Juvenile’s hometown. The tour will traverse numerous North American cities, including San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., Houston, Seattle, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta, Detroit, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Norfolk, Indianapolis, Detroit, Portland, Milwaukee, Oakland, Miami, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Boston, Cleveland, Nashville, Little Rock, Sacramento, Myrtle Beach, overseas in Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Rochester, and more.

    Tickets for the “Back That Azz Up 25th Anniversary Tour” are currently available for pre-sale via Ticketmaster using the code CHORD, with general ticket sales opening on June 14th at 10:00 a.m. local time. Fans can also DM Juvenile on Instagram with the word “TOUR” to receive a link to purchase tickets.

    Juvenile kicked off the anniversary festivities by releasing a long-awaited music video for his song “400 Degreez.”

    Directed by Diesel Filmz, the video commemorates the 25th anniversary of Juvenile’s groundbreaking album “400 Degreez.” It features throwback footage from the album’s era, as well as recent scenes of Juvenile and Mannie Fresh performing together onstage, alongside video vixens crafting a birthday cake for the album.
