Drake has expanded his monumental ‘100 Gigs’ content series by adding two fresh tracks, “Circadian Rhythm” and “No Face,” to streaming platforms. These songs were part of a trio he introduced earlier this month, which also included “SOD.” This marks the second set of new tracks he has released since launching his massive ‘100 Gigs’ website.
The first trio of songs, which dropped in early August, featured “It’s Up” with Young Thug and 21 Savage, “Blue Green Red,” and “Housekeeping Knows,” a collaboration with Latto. These tracks quickly made their way to streaming services just days after their debut.
Interestingly, “SOD” has yet to appear on digital streaming platforms, leaving fans eager for its release. Meanwhile, “Circadian Rhythm” and “No Face” are now available for streaming, although the version of “No Face” uploaded lacks Playboi Carti’s feature from the original ‘100 Gigs’ version.
Among the new releases, “No Face” has sparked significant buzz due to its pointed lyrics, where Drake seemingly takes aim at Kendrick Lamar and other rappers he clashed with earlier this year. He raps, “N****s got lit off the features I skated on… How you get lit off the N**** you hatin’ on? Numbers untouchable, they got the data wrong,” potentially referencing his collaborations with A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, and Future, while casting doubt on Kendrick’s recent streaming success with “Not Like Us.”
Drake’s second verse intensifies the tension as he continues, “My therapist put in a 30-day notice / ‘Cause I keep on talkin’ ’bout beefin’ and business and money and women / It’s no diagnosis, they emptied the clip,” borrowing Kendrick Lamar’s style in the final line. He then warns his rivals with, “Quick, swap that shit out, and I came back reloaded… I’m studio trappin’, I’m locked in the room, what?”
The track “Circadian Rhythm” appears to continue the subtle jabs at Kendrick, with its title possibly alluding to a line from Kendrick’s “6:16 in LA,” where he rapped, “I know this type of power is gon’ cost / But I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star.”
Drake’s ongoing content drop and lyrical provocations continue to keep fans and critics on their toes, eagerly anticipating what’s next from ‘100 Gigs.’
