A$AP Rocky is celebrating a big legal victory by teasing new music from his highly anticipated album, Don’t Be Dumb.
On Thursday (February 20), a snippet of the track surfaced online, showing Rocky spitting bars with an energetic, rapid-fire flow. The beat is dark and piano-heavy, and his delivery feels like a throwback to his earlier days, moving away from the more experimental sound he’s explored in recent years.
“Me and these rappers, we nothing alike,” he raps confidently, making it clear he sees himself on a different level.
This marks the second time Rocky has teased Don’t Be Dumb since being found not guilty of shooting former A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli back in 2021. Just hours after the verdict, he took to social media and wrote, “DON’T BE DUMB,” hinting that the album is on its way soon.

So far, he’s dropped several singles that could end up on the project, including “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n),” “HIGHJACK,” “Tailor Swif,” and “Roby Rosary,” which features J. Cole and production from The Alchemist. The album is also expected to feature contributions from Metro Boomin, Tyler, The Creator, Busta Rhymes, Madlib, and Slick Rick.
Rocky’s week has been eventful, to say the least. After being acquitted and avoiding a possible long prison sentence, he shared his gratitude outside the courthouse.
“First, I gotta thank God,” he told reporters. “And I really wanna thank the jury for making the right decision. I’m just so thankful. This whole experience has been crazy for the past four years, but I’m blessed to be here as a free man, talking to y’all. All praise be to God.”
His girlfriend, Rihanna, also showed her support, posting on social media: “The glory belongs to God and God alone! Thankful, humbled by His mercy.”
Adding a fun twist to the celebration, Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, revealed that the rapper and Rihanna were so grateful for his help during the trial that they jokingly promised to name their next child after him.
“They grabbed me and said, ‘Listen, our next baby is A$AP Joe,’” Tacopina shared in an interview. He laughed, saying he made sure to remind them, “I’m gonna hold you to that.”
