Another BTS and Megan Thee Stallion Collab On The Way?

Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up for another exciting collaboration with BTS, though details are still under wraps. The Houston rapper first teamed up with the K-pop superstars in 2021 for a remix of their chart-topping single “Butter.” Now, both Megan and BTS have hinted that another joint project is on the horizon.

Megan first teased the collaboration on Thursday, August 29, by posting a cryptic tweet featuring her signature horse emoji and a purple heart, a symbol often associated with BTS. The following day, BTS quote-tweeted her post with a message that read, “Coming Soon!” along with their own set of emojis, confirming the collaboration. Fans quickly picked up on the clues, sparking excitement across social media.

Megan has long been a fan of BTS, and she expressed her enthusiasm about their previous collaboration in a 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight. She recalled how thrilled she was when BTS reached out to her for the “Butter” remix, describing it as a dream come true.

In addition to her love for K-pop, Megan also has a deep appreciation for Japanese culture. She recently collaborated with Tokyo rapper Yuki Chiba on the viral hit “Mamushi,” releasing a video earlier this month. The visual, set in a traditional Japanese ryokan, showcases Megan and a group of Japanese women in a sultry and stylized presentation, complete with hot tubs and baths. The “HISS” rapper shot the video in Japan following a massive show in London.

Megan Thee Stallion‘s connection to global music scenes continues to grow, as she not only collaborates with international artists like BTS and Yuki Chiba but also brings her unique style and energy to audiences worldwide. She recently wrapped up her Hot Girl Summer Tour with a show at London’s O2 Arena, where she performed “Mamushi” live for the first time alongside Yuki Chiba, before flying off to Japan to film the music video.

As BTS members are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service in South Korea, the group’s activities have been on pause, with some members focusing on solo projects. However, this new collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion marks an exciting reunion between the “WAP” rapper and the K-pop sensations, following their successful “Butter” remix performance in Los Angeles in November 2021. Fans eagerly await more details about their upcoming project, which promises to be another hit.
