The “Shabooya” rapper Gloss Up has been a media topic in the past week, from dropping “Ride One” early ahead of the album, to now reportedly dating Rapper Hunxho, she has drop her highly anticipated album “Not Ya Girl: Act 1.”
The album contains seven new songs, which is led by her “Ride Home” single, which features Jacquees. Gloss up also has additional features with Hunxho and Skilla Baby in the album. The album comes after her 2023 singles “Wrong One” with GloRilla, Slimeroni, K Carbon, Aleza, & Tay Keith, “N.A.L.B.” with Chrisean Rock, and her two albums “Shade Of Gloss” along with “Before The Gloss Up.”
Gloss Up has steadily been making a name for herself as one of Memphis’s hottest emerging artists over the past few years. She was signed to Quality Control Music in the summer of 2022, and she has performed consistently ever since. In January 2022, Gloss released her first mixtape, “Before The Gloss Up.” A month later, in August of the same year, she released her second mixtape, “Shades Of Gloss.”
She was recently seen performing live “Nothing But Baddies” events on Saturday, March 2nd and 3rd 2024.
