Have You Tried Beyoncé’s “Cécred” Hair Line

Beyoncé’s new hair care line, Cécred (pronounced like “sacred”), is deeply personal. Named after a combination of her name and the word “sacred,” it draws inspiration from her childhood experiences in her mother’s salon and the rich hair care traditions of Black communities.

As Beyoncé puts it, Cécred is a “legacy project” that combines generations of wisdom with modern science and technology. The line is formulated to be inclusive and effective for all hair types and textures, with a focus on healthy hair growth and repair.pen_spark

Cécred’s debut collection features eight products:

    • Clarifying Shampoo & Scalp Scrub: Gently removes buildup for a clean foundation.
    • Hydrating Shampoo: Nourishes and cleanses with hyaluronic acid and African oils.
    • Moisturizing Deep Conditioner: Deeply hydrates and repairs with shea and murumuru butter.
    • Reconstructing Treatment Mask: Strengthens hair with a patent-pending Bioactive Keratin Ferment.
    • Fermented Rice & Rose Protein Ritual: A unique powder-to-liquid treatment for intense repair.
    • Moisture Sealing Lotion: Defines curls and seals in moisture for natural styles.
    • Nourishing Hair Oil: Adds shine and lightweight hydration with 13 oils and plant extracts.
    • Hydrating Conditioner (coming soon): Provides daily moisture for all hair types.

Cécred goes beyond just products. Cécred is a new hair care line from Beyoncé that is inspired by her family’s legacy and her own experiences. The line offers a range of products for all hair types and textures, with a focus on healthy hair growth and repair. Cécred is more than just products; it’s a celebration of hair care rituals and cultural traditions. It aims to empower users and celebrate the cultural significance of hair care rituals, particularly within Black communities. Cécred is available to shop now on the brand’s website, cecred.com.
