Grammy-nominated rapper Joyner Lucas has revealed plans for his upcoming “Not Now, I’m Busy” headlining tour, which will kick off on May 11 in Minneapolis at the Uptown Theater.
“Not Now, I’m Busy” tour follows his March 22, 2024 “Not Now, I’m Busy” album, which follows his 2020 debut album ADHD. The “Not Now, I’m Busy” album features guest appearances by the late DMX, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Conway the Machine, Jelly Roll, Logic, Nefertitti Avani, Symba, and Twista.
The 24-city tour will feature special appearances from rappers Millyz and Dax. The tour will include stops in major cities across the United States, such as Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, New York City, Las Vegas, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, and Houston, as well as in Toronto, Canada. Some of the other venues the tour will visit include the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on May 13, the Fillmore Detroit in Detroit on May 15, and the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on May 16. With stops at The Fillmore Philadelphia in Philadelphia on May 19, the Brooklyn Paramount in Brooklyn on May 20, and The Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland on May 22. The tour will continue through the South, with shows in Raleigh, Nashville, and St. Petersburg, Florida before heading to Texas for concerts in Dallas, as well as Denver, San Antonio, Detroit, San Francisco, Chicago, Cleveland and more. To finish celebrating the cross-country tour, Joyner will celebrate “Joyner Fest 2024” on June 22 at the DCU Center in his hometown of Worcester, Massachusetts.
Joyner Lucas is a critically acclaimed rapper known for his storytelling abilities and socially conscious lyrics. “Joyner Fest,” which previously took place in November 2021 at The Palladium, saw a sold-out crowd of 8,000 and served as a platform for Worcester’s emerging artists to showcase their talent. This year’s event promises to be even bigger, with surprise guests and a full day of music, food, and entertainment.
The “Not Now, I’m Busy” tour will kick off on May 11 in Minneapolis and make stops in cities like Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Atlanta before concluding in Worcester on June 22 for Joyner Fest 2024. Special guest will include Rotimi, Fridayy, Millzy, Conway The Machine, and Dax. Tickets are on sale now, and fans can expect an electrifying performance from Joyner Lucas and his special guests.
