Nike SB and Air Jordan have teamed up once again to release a new edition of the classic Air Jordan 4 sneaker, the Nike SB X Air Jordan 4 Pine Green. The Nike SB x AJ4 honors is honoring the legendary Sandy Boedecker (Which the brand is named after “SB”) and the iconic designer Tinker Hatfield, one of the best teams to ever compete in the sneaker game released the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4. This new release features a fresh take on the iconic silhouette, with a colorway that is sure to turn heads.
The sneaker boasts a sleek black upper, made of premium suede and leather, that is accented with pine green and white detailing. The pine green can be found on the sneaker’s midsole, Jumpman logo, tongue patch, and the Air unit. The white accents can be seen on the Jumpman logo on the tongue and on the lace holders.
The Air Jordan 4 was first released in 1989 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. It quickly became a fan favorite due to its unique design, which included the iconic plastic “wings” on the sides of the shoe and the visible Air unit in the heel. The sneaker was also worn by Michael Jordan during his 1989-1990 NBA season, where he won his fourth scoring title and his first MVP award.
The Nike SB X Air Jordan 4 Pine Green is not only stylish but also functional.
