Soulja Boy and comedian Marlon Wayans are in a heated online feud, throwing insults back and forth over social media. It all started when Wayans made fun of Soulja Boy’s career during a radio interview. He joked about the rapper performing at a Trump event, saying that Soulja was no longer relevant and probably didn’t even realize what he had signed up for.
Soulja Boy didn’t take the comments lightly. He fired back on social media, calling Wayans names and insulting his career. Wayans escalated things even further by making harsh accusations and using racial slurs. Their argument quickly turned nasty, with both taking shots at each other’s work and personal lives.
At one point, Soulja Boy brought up Wayan’s role in the movie White Chicks, mocking him for dressing up as a woman. Meanwhile, Wayans taunted Soulja about his short-lived music success and even accused him of being a drug addict. The two also shared old messages, with Soulja showing a 2017 DM where Wayans asked him to promote a movie, while Wayans shared messages from Soulja asking for a role in his films.
Things got even worse when Soulja Boy made offensive comments about Wayan’s transgender son. Wayans hit back, saying that if Soulja had a real career, he would be canceled for such remarks. In response, Soulja Boy started teasing a diss track aimed at Wayans, adding more fuel to their already intense feud.
Wayans later joked that he might use Soulja Boy as a character in a future Scary Movie installment, describing him in a harsh and insulting way. The whole situation has continued to escalate, with both sides refusing to back down.
As of now, it doesn’t seem like this online battle will end anytime soon. Whether it stays as just words or turns into actual music and entertainment remains to be seen.
