Travis Scott has been keeping his fans busy, after the release of his studio album “Utopia” and announcing his 2024 extend album tour, he’s working with Jordan Brand for the Cactus Jack’s “CJ1 T-REXX” sneakers and clothes.
On Thursday, May 9th, Travis Scott teased the new Jordan “Cactus Jack 1 T-Rexx” with a series of video clips. The sneakers come in Dark Mocha, University Red, and a limited edition “University Red” colorway. One clip featured different angles of Ye’s face and tattoos while he softly sang in the background. Scott captioned the clip, “YE AND THE JACK @gabrielomoses.” He also shared an adorable clip of his children Stormi and Aire hanging out with two of their cousins, Chicago and Psalm. “THE FAM FOR THE JACKS,” he wrote. The Travis Scott x Jordan project was previously preview at the Cannes Film Festival, Last year in May 2023.
The “Cactus Jack 1 T-Rexx” features a strap at the forefoot on one pair, while the pair seen at Cannes does not. The sneakers also include Travis Scott’s signature reverse Swoosh branding and “Cactus Jack” branding. With this collaboration, Travis Scott becomes the first non-athlete to have his own signature sneaker and apparel collection with Jordan Brand.
The apparel collection, which complements the sneakers, comes in three earthy color variations, reflecting Scott’s signature style. The collection includes premium heavyweight cotton cut-n-sew sprayed short-sleeved, muscle, and rib-cage T-shirts, each featuring heavy wash and water-based screen print graphics. There’s also a pullover hoodie with extreme distressed screen print and embroidery details, a black full-zip hoodie, and co-branded cream and brown pull-over hoodies made from heavy-weight fleece. Fleece pants in green and black are also part of the collection. Accessories like T-REXX biker gloves, a leather belt with an oval buckle and metal rivets, a Journey Hat, T-REXX Jacquard sock-pack, and a leather coin pouch are also available.
In addition to the sneaker and clothes collection, Travis Scott and Jordan Brand announced their multi-day “Road to Utopia” sweepstakes earlier this week. The sweepstakes will send a lucky group of 23 pairs of people on a trip to Egypt centered around the official launch of Travis’ upcoming “2024 Circus Maximus Euro Tour.“
Travis Scott is going to be traveling for his European tour this summer as part of the 2023 American”UTOPIA” tour. The extended 2024 “Circus Maximum Tour,” will be performing at stadiums and arenas across the continent, with a 12-show tour beginning on June 28 at the Gelredome in the Netherlands, with additional stops in Poland, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the U.K., Czech Republic, and Italy.
