Westside Gunn, a rapper from Buffalo and the head of the Griselda record label, has released a new song called “Outlander.” This track is the first single from his upcoming album, “12,” which is set to come out on Valentine’s Day.
The song was produced by Myles, the teenage son of Rick Hyde, who is associated with Griselda. In the music video, directed by Daily Gems, Gunn showcases his confident style as he moves through New York City wearing a distinctive Louis Vuitton leather jacket. In his lyrics, he boasts about his success and warns others not to challenge him.
Recently, Westside Gunn has been more active in releasing music. On Halloween, he put out a five-track EP titled “11,” and the next day, he released “Still Praying,” hosted by DJ Drama. He also plans to release “Flygod Is an Awesome God III” and a collaborative project called “Michelle Records” with Stove God Cooks from Syracuse, New York. Gunn emphasizes the importance of Griselda’s influence in the rap industry and is determined to remind everyone of their impact.
