North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Ye, continues to broaden her horizons. From basketball prowess to TikTok influence, artistry, and now, directing music videos for her father Kanye West, she’s truly a multi-talented individual.
In collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, North has taken on the role of director for Vultures 1’s latest single, “Talking.” Joining her is co-director Aus Taylor. In the music video, North makes a stylish appearance in a fur coat, hat, and oversized sunglasses, surrounded by friends Reppin “Vultures” merches as they chill on top of a Porsche.
The video’s second half shifts focus to Ty Dolla performing solo in a gray room, interspersed with shots of Kanye amidst a dramatic mountain backdrop beneath an ominous sky. “Talking” quickly became a favorite among fans during a “Vultures 1” listening event in Miami last year December, where Kanye shared the stage with artists like Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Offset, and Freddie Gibbs.
Despite distribution controversies on Ye’s chart-topper “Vultures 1” debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 upon its release on February 10. This album serves as a sequel to Kanye’s upcoming “Vultures 2,” which is set to release this Friday, May 3rd.
North West, at just 13 years old, continues to explore her creative talents, she’s also gearing up for the launch of her debut album, “Elementary School Dropout,” sampling her father’s iconic 2004 release, “The College Dropout.”
