The anticipation surrounding Rihanna’s upcoming album never seems to fade, especially with her continuous releases in the realms of Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty, all while teasing that the album is on its way. Juggling her relationship with A$ap Rocky and the joys of motherhood with two little ones under two, Rza and Riot, it’s no wonder Rihanna’s focus on her CEO duties with Fenty—spanning skincare, makeup, and fashion—is delaying the album’s arrival.

During an interview at the event, she addressed fans, stating, “It’s gonna be amazing…It has to be — that is the only reason it’s not out yet. If I’m not feeling it and I’m not feeling like it represents the evolution, the time I spent away …There should be a show of growth, right?… I want to play, and I feel like music is a playground, and I want to have fun with it and show truly where I am at.”

Rihanna also confirmed she will be at the 2024 Met Gala, which will take place May 6th, fans might get lucky with a snippet of what the Bad Girl got in a store for her fans. Given all the potential (unconfirmed) artists we’ve heard could be on the album from Jamaican (Nicki Minaj and Shaggy), African ( Wizkid and Ayra Starr), along with her sons , RZA, And Riot, and a few American artists we can tell the album will definitely be an international hit.
