Adolph Thornton (Young Dolph) was known to the city of Memphis waaaaay before rap. A hustler who got rich young.
The undocumented poster child for entrepreneurship. Investing in businesses and properties. Taking care of his family, molding his peers into businessmen. Inspiring others to do the same. In his youth he vowed to never sell crack.
Seeing the toll it took on his family personally did a number on him. He carried this wherever he went. Thanks to social media you can now witness him for yourself engaging with communities, especially children.
Doing for others he wished people had done for him growing up. He never stopped being a role model and he has done it so effortlessly. Loved by many, as they say, ”a real Memphis playa. A modest prime example of the brother we all are looking for. Not only did he compliment Memphis, he complimented the streets.
Keeping a strong mind with self control and focus gave us Dolph. Memphis deserves a statue to capture the foreverness of such an important human being. An excellent example, not so easy to follow but of the people and for the people. We don’t want to lose him as just some other entertainer. What he did for the world was not entertainment, you are listening to the heart of an artist. There was compassion in everything he involved himself in. As the days go by more will be revealed of who he was as a person. Stay tuned and remember, ”Real n****z make the world go round.”
