Although drake is celebrating a third week at the top of the Billboard 200 with the release of his newest album, Certified Lover Boy, He is still creating other ways to, as we say “secure the bag”. We know Drake has been executing significant actions within the sports industry. From pledging millions of dollars to help his hometown basketball the Toronto Raptors in local community service acts, to the announcment that he would be performing his music for Monday Night Football this season. Now, he’s collaborating with the NBA by joining the streetwear clothing industry creating an exclusive collection for the ’21-’22 OVO’s Fall/Winter collection, with the help of Bobby Shmurda, Chief Keef, & Drakeo the Ruler.
On Monday (September 27), Drake’s OVO clothing brand officially announced a collaboration with the NBA as part of their Fall/Winter 2021 collection. Bobby Shmurda and Chief Keef to help unveil the OVO x NBA collaboration. From the image, Bobby Shmurda is seen in an OVO x Knicks New Era cap, with a tracksuit decorated in the team’s colors blue, orange and white. Chief Keef has a Bulls-inspired varsity jacket and a hat highlighting the OVO owl and the bull horns. The jacket highlights OVO’s giant “O” varsity patch featured on the left chest with the New York Knicks logo on the right side, and the words “World Champions 1970, 1973” embroidered underneath. Also During the weekend, LeBron James was seen wearing an unreleased OVO x Los Angeles Lakers cap, while he was attending the Los Angeles Rams-Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL game. Drakeo the Ruler was also posted, wearing a Los Angeles Laker’s set.

The new collection is arranged to be released on Wednesday, September 29, with apparently more team collections coming soon.
