GRAMMY-nominated artist GloRilla is making major moves in the music scene. Following the success of her last single “Yeah Glo!” which entered the top 10 on US Apple Music for the first time ever, solidifying her status, she is keeping the momentum going. GloRilla has released her new album, “Ehhthang Ehhthang,” which features Moneybagg Yo, Boston Richie, Finesse2Tymes, and Kevo Muney.
“Yeah Glo!” came with a music video earlier this year and serves as the lead single for the project, while the highly anticipated collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, now titled “Wanna Be,” is the second single. GloRilla has treated fans to a sneak peek of the mixtape’s vibe, sharing audio snippets of two tracks on both X and Instagram.
The album which features her long-awaited collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion on “Wanna Be,” as per usual, the Hot Girl lets everyone know she’s still doing hot girl s***. “You can get your wig turned like Effie (Like Effie). I don’t need insurance ’cause a b* can’t wreck me.” She continues, “These n* be crazy, I don’t blame ’em. I’m a dog too, I don’t wanna change him.”
“Ehhthang Ehhthang” also mentions both Cardi B and Nicki Minaj in the Kevo Muney-featuring “Aite,” which she’s seen envisioning a world in which women in rap don’t have feuds in rap stating “I just pray one day the bad bitches’ll come together. ‘Cause Cardi and Nicki on a track would break some f* records.” Fans also noticed GloRilla bar about sleeping with two celebrities who clearly are cheating on their girlfriends and want to know who they are, but also questions her character as she has mentioned before sleeping with an NBA player and asking if the wife could fight. “Industry n****s wanna f**8, that’s it, they ain’t on s*** (S***), Only let two of ’em hit, both of ’em had a b****. Damn, n****s really ain’t s*** (On God), But they be lookin’ so in love on all them IG pics (Woo)” she stated in her rap.

She also addresses the JT beef rumors in “Aite” but it didn’t ease the conflict with JT. “Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefin’,” Glo said. Later following the release of the album, JT and GloRilla had an ongoing feud on X (Twitter), which stemmed from fans believing Glo had slapped JT at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. JT denied it, and GloRilla didn’t clarify anything but instead added to the rumor releasing “Yeah Glo,” rapping “Stomp a lil’ p**** ho with some shell toes. Yeah, Glo! Slappin’ rap b****es and makin’ bail, ho,” insinuating she indeed slapped JT. Following the feud with heated words for each other, Glo finally admits she did not slap JT; she only got to hit her with a purse.
