Future and Metro Boomin Announce ‘We Still Don’t Trust You,’ Tease Pyramids Performance

Future and Metro Boomin have unveiled a new project, “We Still Don’t Trust You,” following their hit “We Don’t Trust You.” They made the announcement on X (previously known as Twitter) on April 4, with Metro Boomin sharing a teaser video. In the video, both artists are seen in a dark studio, wearing white outfits, with their figures being distorted through digital effects, all while a foreboding tune plays in the background. Metro Boomin tagged Future in the post, indicating the project’s release date as April 12, 2024, and pointed out that this project is distinct from their previous work, not just a deluxe version.

Metro Boomin also mentioned the rap community’s hesitation to embrace his latest release, “We Don’t Trust You,” suggesting that some of the record’s contentious issues may be deterring other artists from promoting it. He said on X that some people appeared hesitant about promoting the album after it peaked at number one on the Billboard 200. Fans began to speculate about potential conflicts between 21 Savage, Metro, and their mutual collaborator Drake, who hadn’t made any online mention of the record.

Not to mention the Big 3. The feud between Drake, Kendrick, and Cole intensified after the album’s release. Concerns about possible divisions were voiced by fans, particularly after Metro Boomin urged fans and artists to pick their sides, raising the possibility of internal disputes in the business.

Metro Boomin (who became the artist with the most top 10 hits on the Hot 100 this year) according to Chart data) has plans for a performance at Egypt’s Pyramids of Giza. On April 2, he revealed on X his scheduled show at the Kundalini Grand Pyramids for April 30, sharing a comic-book-style image of himself with the iconic landmarks. He expressed excitement about the event, where tickets are already on sale.
