Hip Hop Artist Friday Releases: Skilla Baby, Millzy, Shenseea, Nardo Wick, Southside, Bun B, Future, PartyNextDoor, JT, Yung Bleu, YG, and Coi Leray

This Friday Arpil 26th, saw a variety of highly anticipated hip hop releases, from Detroit rapper Skilla Baby kicking things off with his new album, to Shenseea, Killer Mike, Offset, Blxst, Millzy, Nardo Wick, Future, PartyNextDoor, Southside, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Bun B.

Skilla Baby’s album “The Coldest” is part of his “We Eat The Most Reloaded” project. On the solo track “Trapped”, he raps about his wealth and past attempts on his life. He also pays homage to drug kingpin Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory on “Free Big Meech”.

Jamaican singer Shenseea released her new single “Neva Neva” this Friday. The song is expected to appear on her upcoming album, which will be her first full-length project since signing with Rich Immigrants/Interscope Records in 2021

Killer Mike’s Grammy-winning song “Exit 9” gets a remix featuring Offset and Blxst. The original version appeared on Killer Mike’s 2022 album “Michael”. Killer Mike wanted to get a fellow Georgian like Offset on the remix, which references the Atlanta street named after Martin Luther King Jr.

Millzy’s new 8-track album “Katrina’s Son” features guest appearances from Meek Mill, Sada Baby, G Mizzo and more. Millyz is a rapper from Roxbury, Massachusetts who has been building a strong underground following in recent years.

Atlanta rapper Nardo Wick teams up with Future on the track “Back To Back”. The song has a calmer vibe than Nardo’s usual high-energy sound, with Future delivering a repetitive hook and a spirited verse over a beat by Southside. Nardo Wick has been on a hot streak, appearing on recent collaborative albums with Metro Boomin.

After a four-year hiatus, PartyNextDoor is back with his new album “PartyNextDoor 4”. The 14-song album includes previously released tracks like “Resentment”, “Real Woman”, “Her Old Friends” and “Lose My Mind”. PND debuted the NSFW cover art earlier this month, which features a naked woman bent over on a bed

Producer Southside links up with Opium artists Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely on the song “President”. The two rappers trade autotune-heavy verses over Southside’s production. Southside has been on a roll, contributing beats to recent projects by Future, Lil Durk, Lil Yachty and more.

Bun B brings his Texas sound to Japan with the album “Yokozuna Trill”, recorded in partnership with 2 Tight Music Japan. The veteran rapper asserts his status as the “trillest O.G.” on the intro, and pays tribute to his late UGK partner Pimp C on the title track. The 8-song project also features collaborations with Jay Worthy, Jack Freeman, CZ Tiger and more.
