Even amidst Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour, which is satisfying fan demands, she found time to remix one of her most popular songs from the Pink Friday 2 album. The remix is titled “FTCU” (SLEEZEMIX), providing the Barb gang with more music to enjoy while anticipating her performances in Detroit, MI, and other upcoming tour locations such as Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; New Orleans, LA; Houston, Dallas, and Austin, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Toronto, Canada; and of course, Brooklyn, NY.
Released on Friday, April 19, the remix features Nicki’s original second verse, along with new lyrics from Travis Scott, the rapper known for “Highest In The Room,” Chris Brown, the singer of “Look At Me Now,” and Sexyy Red, the rapper of “Pound Town.”
According to the Billboard charts, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown have collaborated on six entries in the Billboard Hot 100 such as “Take It to the Head” (No. 58, 2012, featuring Rick Ross and Lil Wayne), “Right By My Side” (No. 51), “Love More” (No. 23), “Only” (No. 12, 2014, featuring Drake and Lil Wayne), “All Eyes On You” (No. 21, 2015, featuring Meek Mill), and “Do You Mind” (No. 27, with DJ Khaled, August Alsina, Jeremih, Future, and Rick Ross). While Minaj and Sexyy have previously collaborated on “Pound Town 2,” reaching No. 66 on the chart in 2023 with Tay Keith, this marks the “Anaconda” rapper’s first collaboration with Travis Scott.
