Nigo, Japanese culture and fashion icon, enlists Pusha T for his latest body of work “Hear Me Clearly” ahead of his upcoming album, I Know Nigo. The single was released on Friday March 4 2022, and it is set to appear on the Bape owner’s upcoming album, I Know Nigo, later in the month.
Like most of the other tracks on the album, the song was previewed previously during the year at Kenzo’s Autumn/Winter 2022 fashion show. A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Kid Cudi, Tyler, the Creator, Teriyaki Boyz, Pharrell Williams, and Fam-Lay will all make appearances on I Know NIGO.
“Hear Me Clearly,” produced by Kanye West and BoogzDaBeast, is the third track by Nigo prior to the BAPE creator and KENZO curator’s widely anticipated album, which is set to drop later in the month. He previously collaborated with Kid Cudi on the song “Want It Bad,” which was accompanied by a visual. Before that, he released “Arya” alongside A$AP Rocky, all of whom are must-haves for streetwear and music enthusiasts.
Pusha T, on the other contrary, seems to be in the media a lot lately as he promotes his upcoming fourth studio album, which is set to arrive later this year. He made headlines last month when he drop his track and video for “Diet Coke” featuring Kanye West, which has acquired over 6 million views on YouTube.
Pusha T also appeared live on Steven Colbert’s “The Late Show” on Thursday night, performing his track “Diet Coke” ( which was Premiered February 8, 2022) on March 3. Pusha T performed and amazed the audience while performing on stage while standing among artificial snow falling from machines.
While Pusha T’s upcoming album’s title remains unconfirmed, he’s already started promoting it, indicating that JAY-Z will be one of the features on Million Dollaz Worth of Game. The energy from Pharell is a pleasant surprise for Pusha T fans, as it motivated him to write him It’s Not Dry Yet album (Potentially called), which is set to drop in the next half quarter of 2022. Kanye West will produce one half, while The Neptunes will conduct the rest.
Pusha T disclosed a discussion with Pharrell which resulted in him collaborating with him, to make what he claims could be the greatest Album of 2022 during his regular promotion of the song on Instagram.
Having his 2018 DAYTONA album already four years old, Pharrell advised Pusha he didn’t really need him to not slip into being known solely for being in a “mixtape rapper” classification after listening to the music, before its release.
“Fun Fact: @pharrell heard this song and told me “it’s cool, but I don’t want you to be a mixtape rapper for the rest of your life.” I was devastated. He then flew me to Miami and proceeded to produce the first half of the best album of the year. Moral of the story…always “push” your friends to be greater, even when they’re the greatest. 🙃” Pusha T posted about his Album.
