Now, the late rapper has been revealed to have topped Drake as the highest-streamed hip hop album in Spotify history.
Scorpion had a significant lead against “?” in November 2021, with 7.5 billion streams to 6.9 billion. According to Chart Masters, “?” has subsequently overtaken Scorpion (7.883 billion) on the platform with 7.884 billion replays, beating it out by fewer than a million plays.
“?” opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 131,000 album-equivalent units after having the hits “Sad!,” “Moonlight,” and “Changes.” The Recording Industry Association of America has since certified it triple platinum (RIAA).
“?” is far from XXXTENTACION’s first album to achieve massive streaming top charts, following his death. Last August, “Changes” reached one billion Spotify plays, making it the deceased rapper’s fourth subsequent song to do so.
“?”, on the other hand, still has a bit of a way to go to be the highest-streamed album on Spotify overall. Ed Sheeran’s “÷ Divide,” which has a remarkable 11.5 billion streams, presently holds the title.

XXXTENTACION sitting in the parking lot of Riva Motorsports Motorcycle & Marine Superstore in Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 18, 2018, was attacked by two armed men.
