Lil Uzi Vert is still preparing to release his follow-up to his last album the “Eternal Atake,” which was announced back in 2020.
Uzi revealed the album during a two-hour Instagram Live in December 2020, in which he played unreleased music and indicated he will be releasing an album exclusively via SoundCloud. With Fans originally thinking it would drop for Christmas.

After disclosing its title “The Pink Tape,” Lil Uzi Vert has teased his fans about the upcoming album. He previously stated last month that he was “putting” his “all” into this project.

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, he posted a message to his fans via his Instagram story about his new music. Lil Uzi Vert has indicated that he is reverting to his former self, “working less and talking more”. His post captioned “This time less talkin’ more working. Going back in classic mode. I been threw 2 much this time around 🦇. Nothin’ can break me.”

According to Lil Uzi Vert, he’s diving into “classic mode” style for his anticipated upcoming album, and he’s tapped into another mindset. He also stated that there is basically nothing that will prevent him from seeing it through.
