On June 3rd, 2022, Grammy Award-winning rapper Doja Cat debuted the music video for her hit “Vegas.”
The song “Vegas” will be included in the next Elvis Presley biopic, and she is using it as a promotional tool to get moviegoers excited for the forthcoming self-titled Elvis Presley biopic, which will be released on June 24. The first track from the Elvis Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, “Vegas,” now has an official music video.
Doja Cat debuted the song at her most recent Coachella appearance in April. She also invited gospel singer Shonka Dukureh, who plays Thornton in the documentary, on stage.
Doja is seen preparing for a show at a concert venue while others danced around her in the music video Directed By Child. Doja Cat is currently working on her follow-up album alongside participating in the movie soundtrack. The 26-year-old disclosed interview with Elle, that the ” Planet Her” album follow-up, Additional Hip Hop could be expected on it.
Eminem, Jazmine Sullivan, Stevie Nicks, Gary Clark Jr., CeeLo Green, Kacey Musgraves, Tame Impala, Maneskin, Jack White, and more will be featured in the biopic. The documentary depicts the life of Elvis Presley, performed by Austin Butler, through the eyes of Colonel Tom Parker, who is played by Tom Hanks.
