Gunna “One of Wun” Album

Gunna has released his highly anticipated album “One of Wun” on May 10th, marking his fifth studio album.

This comes after the success of his previous album, “A Gift & A Curse,” which he dropped last year after spending six months in jail on racketeering charges. Despite facing snitching accusations due to the plea deal that secured his release, Gunna’s career continued to grow, with “A Gift & A Curse” proving his status as a top rap competitor despite controversial issues.

“One of Wun” boasts 20 tracks and includes notable features such as Offset on “Prada Dem,” Normani on “$$$,” Roddy Ricch on “Let it Breathe,” and Leon Bridges on “Clear My Rain.” Gunna has described this album as more lyrical and deeper than his previous work, adding an element of anticipation among fans.

It seems like Gunna might be in a chart race with fellow Atlanta artist Future, who recently announced the release of a new mixtape. Future took a jab at an unnamed rival, suggesting that their album doesn’t compare to his mixtape stating “F*** yo album S*** ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE.”

Gunna responded to this indirectly, indicating that he’s unfazed by the competition and confident in his music’s quality. “Turn this shit bac up Notch……! F*** What These boys talkin bout” Gunna replied.

Apparently Future’s post was a line from his new mixtape with Tee Grizzley called “Swear to God,” and the line is part of the chorus. Are you team Gunna or Future, listen to both on all streaming platforms and HipHopUntapped, let us know which one you’re vibing with more.
