Kodak Black’s 25th birthday is coming up soon, and it appears that it will be a very memorable one.
Kodak Black, who was given his own day by Broward County Commissioner Dale Holeness in 2021, is embracing the privilege with honor and plans to commemorate it this year by hosting his own festival.
The celebration will be held at Pompano Community Park from 1 to 10 p.m. on June 11th, Yak’s 25th birthday. On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Kodak posted the announcement of the event. On Monday, May 24 he revealed some of the festival’s performance lineup.
It includes Moneybagg Yo, Lil Durk, Yungeen Ace, EST Gee, Hotboii, FCG Heem, and Rylo Rodriguez with more to be released at a later point in time prior to the event date. It wouldn’t be an official Yak’s Day unless the birthday man himself takes the performance that fans are excited for.
Guests would be able to participate in carnival rides, enjoy eating food from local vendors, a private meet-and-greet with the Yak himself, as well as activities in addition to the live music performances. All earnings from the Kodak Black Day Festival will go to several South Florida-based charitable groups, according to reports.
Apart from preparing for something which is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime birthday bash, Kodak Black has always been on everyone’s radar recently after making several features on multiple artist’s releases including an appearance on Kendrick Lamar’s heavily hyped fifth album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” on the song “Silent Hill.” In addition, Kodak has been busy releasing videos in honor of his latest album, “Back For Everything”, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
The festival’s official website is now selling tickets for those who haven’t grabbed one yet.
