Megan Thee Stallion Teases “Act One” of Her Musical Comeback

After a brief hiatus following the Tory Lanez shooting incident, Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up for a highly-anticipated return to the music scene. On October 12, the “Big Ol Freak” rapper gave fans a sneak peek into what she’s calling “act one” of her comeback.

Megan took to Twitter to share a mysterious video where she sported vampire fangs, accompanied by the caption, “Let’s begin.” On Instagram, she used her grid to spell out the words “Act One” with three images, building excitement among her followers.

While Megan didn’t reveal the release date or title of her forthcoming song, this isn’t the first hint she’s dropped about her return. She recently starred in the A24 film “Dicks: The Musical,” which includes new music from her. The movie’s lead single, “Out Alpha the Alpha,” showcases Megan rapping as her character Gloria Masters, a powerful woman on a mission to challenge the patriarchy.

“Dicks: The Musical,” adapted from the Broadway show “F***ing Identical Twins,” hit theaters earlier this month. It’s a campy spin on the 1998 film “The Parent Trap.”

Megan’s acting career has been on the rise in 2023, with her participation in “Dicks: The Musical” and her role in Season 7 of Netflix’s animated series, “Big Mouth.” Fans can catch her in the animated series when it returns on October 20, and the show will conclude with Season 8. Megan Thee Stallion continues to make waves both in the music and entertainment worlds, leaving fans eager to see what “act one” of her musical comeback has in store.
