Ryan Garcia defeated Devin Haney in a major upset during their super lightweight boxing match in New York City. Haney was dropped three times but still retained his WBC title because Garcia couldn’t win it due to being overweight. Despite Garcia’s victory, the build-up to the fight was unusual, with Garcia revealing that the New York State Athletic Commission had asked him to undergo a mental health evaluation
