Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up for her “Hot Girl Summer” 2024 Tour, and she’s on the roll with giving fans a snippet of what to come with her new single “BOA” released May 10th.
The rapper hinted at new music dropping this month in early May, posting with the caption “Megan May,” accompanied by snake-themed visuals reminiscent of her past singles. She also announced the relaunch of her “Megan Monday” freestyle series with a new freestyle titled “I Think I Love Her.”
Following her feature in “Wanna Be” with GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion teased the single artwork for “Boa” on Tuesday afternoon. The artwork featured a carousel of photos recreating video game covers with the song title.
Megan revealed the cover art for her new single on Instagram, where she cosplayed as Boa Hancock from the manga series “One Piece,” adding her own style and a snake to the character’s look. The snake symbol has been significant in Megan’s journey since last year, appearing in her Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper track “Cobra,” released on November 3, 2023, and “Hiss,” released earlier this year on January 26, 2024.
In addition to the track’s streaming release, Megan announced that fans could purchase “BOA” in CD format through her official website. She shared six iterations, all resembling video game cases for the PlayStation 2 console.
Megan Thee Stallion also annouced her “Hot Girl Summer” 2024 Tour, kicking off on May 14th at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. The tour will include stops in Minneapolis, Chicago (twice), Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore, Memphis, Atlanta (twice), Dallas, Tampa, New Orleans, Austin, Houston, San Francisco, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Paris, Manchester, Amsterdam, London, and Dublin.
