    Rapsody Release “3:AM” Single with Erykah Badu Ahead Of Her “Please Don’t Cry” Album

    As Rapsody’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, “Please Don’t Cry,” inches closer to its release, she treats her fans to a taste of what’s to come with her latest single, “3:AM” released May 3rd.

    “3:AM,” Infused with the smooth sounds of jazzy saxophones and percussion, the track features the soulful vocals of R&B icon Erykah Badu, blending seamlessly with Rapsody’s North Carolina flow. Adding to the uniqueness of the song are the beautiful instrumentals provided by JeMarcus Bridges and Terrace Martin on horns and keyboards, Amber Navran on flute, and Marlon Williams on guitar.

    Set for release on May 17, “Please Don’t Cry” marks Rapsody’s fourth studio album, following the success of 2019’s “Eve,” 2017’s “Laila’s Wisdom,” and her debut album, 2012’s “The Idea of Beautiful.”
