SUPREME, the well-known New York streetwear brand, maintains its streak of successful collaborations. James Jebbia and Tremaine Emory have announced a collaboration with the iconic brand DICKIES, just days after proposing a collection with Aeon Flux.
Supreme contributes to Dickies’ 100th anniversary special by reimagining cult pieces from the Workwear company.
The New York imprint collaborated with the American Workwear label to create a few pieces for their Spring 2022 collection. The exclusive collection includes a jacket, short-sleeved shirt, work pants, shorts, and a belt. The Eisenhower jacket, Original 874 work trousers, loose shorts, short-sleeved shirts, and the Web belt with gold or silver military clasp all seemed to be inspirations for the new designs.
The Supreme x Dickies partnership adds to the current styles, starting with the Eisenhower Jacket, which comes in four colors and features side stripe detailing. The Original 874® Work Pants, 13″ Loose Fit Multi-Use Pocket Work Shorts, and Military Buckle Web Belt maintain the collection’s concept. The combined effort is acknowledged with a co-branding logo on each piece.
The new line comes in four colorways grey, brown, red, and teal, with side stripes in black, orange, blue, and green, accordingly. The items are created with durable material and contain multiple buttoned or patch pockets, keeping with the basic workplace theme. To further reinforce the collaboration, each item in the new limited-edition selection is labeled with a Dickies label that also has the SUPREME logo box.
On April 7, 2022, at 11 a.m. EDT in the United States and April 9, 11 a.m. JST in Japan, the SUPREME x DICKIES Spring 2022 collaborative will be launched in stores and online at supremenewyork.com. All fans waiting to buy one of these limited edition items should brace themself for a sold-out result.
