50 Cent Wraps Up Final Lap Tour with Impressive Revenue

50 Cent, the iconic rapper turned entrepreneur, has showcased his enduring influence in the music industry with his Final Lap Tour, demonstrating that he still commands significant attention as an artist.

According to reports from Touring Data on March 28, 50 Cent’s global tour has amassed a staggering $84 million in revenue, based on data from 71 out of 103 shows. If projections hold true for the remaining 32 shows, averaging over 13,000 tickets per night at an average price of $90.27 per ticket, the tour is expected to gross a remarkable $122.5 million.

This financial success places the Final Lap Tour among the elite ranks of rap tours, trailing only JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s On the Run II Tour, which grossed $253 million, and Drake’s It’s All a Blur Tour, currently exceeding $189 million in revenue.

Taking to Instagram to share his reaction, 50 Cent didn’t miss the chance to inject a bit of humor, poking fun at his ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy amidst allegations of her involvement in illicit activities. He emphasized his personal success and commitment to abstinence with a playful jab at the situation.

The Final Lap Tour, billed as 50 Cent’s farewell to touring, kicked off in North America in July and traversed across Europe, Australia, and Saudi Arabia, among other regions. The extensive 103-date journey featured notable supporting acts such as Busta Rhymes, Jeremih, Tony Yayo, and Uncle Murda, with surprise appearances from industry heavyweights like Eminem, J. Cole, and even Ed Sheeran.

Busta Rhymes humorously attributed his weight loss to the rigorous demands of the tour, declaring his newfound confidence. Tony Yayo provided insight into 50 Cent’s unwavering commitment and work ethic, highlighting the rapper’s multifaceted endeavors beyond music, including his involvement in film and television production.

With his focus on business ventures and creative projects, 50 Cent has transcended the confines of music, establishing himself as a prominent figure in entertainment and entrepreneurship. As the Final Lap Tour concludes, it serves as a testament to 50 Cent’s enduring legacy and influence, leaving an indelible mark on the industry for years to come.
