Travis Scott was supposed to headline the ‘Day N Las Vegas’ event last year, but he stepped out following the Astroworld disaster, as many of you may know. Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator headlined last year’s Day N Vegas. Travis Scott was supposed to headline, but he backed out due to the event that happened during the 2021 Astroworld incident.

SZA (Friday, Sept.2nd), J. Cole (Saturday, Sept.3rd), and Travis Scott (Sunday, Sept.4th) are expected to lead the three-day event as the headliners. With this being Travis Scott finally making his formal comeback to a concert performance since the tragedy at the Astroworld festival last year. The ‘Day N Vegas’ is going to be held at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds from September 2-4.
Other artists performing at the ‘Day N Vegas’ festival include 21 Savage, Benny the Butcher, Pusha T, Playboi Carti, Blxst, Saba, Jhené Aiko, Summer Walker, Chlöe, Baby Keem, H.E.R., Freddie Gibbs, Syd, EarthGang, Conway the Machine, Jay Rock, Ravyn Lenae, Masego, Armand Hammer, Pink Siifu, Smino, and many others.
Travis Scott has already been confirmed to perform at the Primavera Festival in Santiago, Chile in November 2022. Prior to then, he had been focused on recovering from the traumatic occurrence. He recently collaborated with Nike on the “Nike x Cactus Jack collection,” and donated revenue from his Nike sneaker collaboration to his Project HEAL campaign.
Which is stated to be committed to addressing difficulties impacting kids from disadvantaged and at-risk communities, according to the website. The collection was launched in May 2022, and within 30 minutes of the website’s introduction, over a million people had pre-registered.
Travis was seen on his first TV performance following the incident during the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, performing fan’s favorite “Mafia” and “Lost Forever.” Even with the event, it’s evident that Travis Scott’s supporters are devoted to him and his work.
Travis Scott has also stated that he will contribute $1 million to 100 students at historically black colleges and universities (HBCU). His Cactus Jack Foundation is expected to provide the Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund.
