Gifted Hands, born Immanuel Mitchell, Has been known for his positive and motivational music. The 27-years old rapper is from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and was born without hands. Although he’s had many circumstances against him, he does not let anything get in his way, he even extends himself to motivate others.
As stated in many of his freestyles and singles, like many others he has had many difficulties, including being in his own way and the cause of his growth. For example, in his new song “My Heart Instead” he talks about getting out of his own way and how it helped him to grow, which he stated now makes him unstoppable. He remarks on his past, following his heart, and conquering his circumstances. The Song was released on June 2, 2022, on all streaming platforms, along with a music video via youtube.
Like most of his songs, the theme is always to motivate, and inspire others to keep going regardless of what they’re going through. His positive mindset is a breath of fresh air for the social media world, following all the violent music that has been trending in America lately. We are looking forward to more positive music from many artists.
Prior to releasing “My Heart Instead,” Gifted Hands went viral with his song “Why Stop Now,” which was posted by ‘My Block LIVE©™’ on March 24th via Youtube. The video became viral and was reposted by many other social pages, some people even created TikTok, and other remix or reactions videos to the song making it trend even more. Showing how powerful and inspiring the song truly is.
