“6 years ago I released my first album and it broke so many records GAH LEE!!” she wrote, alongside the album art for her debut release. “6 years later I’m preparing to drop the next one this year.. it’s so different from what everyone is expecting and I’m sooo excited.”

The “Ring” rapper continued, expressing gratitude to her fans and acknowledging their support. She also mentioned being busy lately.

Back in 2018, Cardi B made waves with “Invasion of Privacy,” dominating the scene and claiming the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. She also won the Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

With hits like the “Ring” remix featuring Kehlani, “Best Life” with Chance the Rapper, “Drip” featuring Migos, “Bodak Yellow,” “Be Careful With Me,” and “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, Cardi B’s career soared.

Last month, Cardi offered fans a taste of what to expect from her sophomore release with her latest hit, “Enough (Miami).” She revealed that the song was inspired by her critics ganging up on her and originally had a different title.

“The song was originally called ‘And Her Name is Cardi K,'” she explained. “I was really angry… I felt underestimated. So ‘Cardi K’ was like ‘Everybody Killa’ vibes… But her stage name is ‘Enough/Miami.'”

The track followed two weeks after Cardi B dropped the “Like What (Freestyle),” sampling Missy Elliot’s 1999 hit “She’s a Bitch.” She also featured on Shakira’s “Puntería,” the opening track from her album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” released mid-March.

Cardi B’s journey from the groundbreaking success of “Invasion of Privacy” to the anticipation surrounding her upcoming album showcases her growth as an artist. With each release, she continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences worldwide. As fans eagerly await her next musical venture, Cardi B remains a force to be reckoned with in the music industry, proving that her talent and determination are endless.
