Giveon’s eagerly anticipated upcoming album will soon be arriving. Giveon, an R&B singer from Long Beach, California, announced on Instagram on Friday, June 3, 2022, that his new single “Give or Take” will be released on June 24 via Not So Fast/Epic Records.
“Give Or Take” follows Giveon’s prior album, 2020’s “When It’s All Said and Done” EP, which was released over two years ago. The four-track album, which included a feature by Snoh Aalegra on “Last Time,” reached No. 93 on the Billboard 200.
The album “Give Or Take” will feature the hit singles singles “For Tonight,” which was co-produced by Sevn Thomas, Akeel, and Jahaan Sweet. Along with “Lie Again,” which was produced by Don Mills. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded the former single gold status in March after it sold more than 500,000 equivalent units.
The album’s cover art, which features Giveon standing outside a building, was also released in his Instagram post. A visual teaser was also posted in which it display him sitting inside a building with a recorded message from his mother, focused on their conversation while observing the Los Angeles metropolis beneath him. Providing fans with sort of what they could anticipate from the forthcoming album. Images of live footage and flashbacks are mixed with the reflective theme, creating suspense and intensity.
Giveon was also nominated for the 2022 BET Awards for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. The event will be broadcast live on BET on Sunday, June 26 at 8 p.m. ET, and will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson.
